• Healthcare informatics - a growing discipline where IT is used to develop new methods to improve patient care.
• Management - the NHS requires many expert and experienced managers to ensure the delivery of a thoroughly effective and professional 21^st century NHS.
• Midwifery - the provision of care, advice and treatment for pregnant women and new mothers.
